120: Acceptance

Nothing is the same
Not the wind nor the rain
Not the ticking of the clock
Not the wearing of a frock.

Life has challenged me
I will not accept the status quo
I will push back and ask for more
I will open brand new doors.

I am changed
My life has new perspective
My thoughts have shifted gear
My direction holds no fear.

I am grateful
For the changes brought about 
For the experience I have had
For the good that’s come from bad.
