Apparently I’m not mainstream,
She said with a laugh and a wicked gleam!
Well what the hell, does that mean?

Yes, I know. I don’t follow the crowd;
and of that I’m really proud;
I never wanted to bow down.

So if you meant, my pride to insult,
your words have fallen woefully short.
Thank you, darling! I like your thought!

I’ll wear it like a badge of honour,
I’m true to myself, in my behaviour,
I like who I am. I couldn’t be happier!
