I watched the surf roll in with you,
the blue sky all around.
We laughed and chatted all breakfast through,
oblivious to the soothing sound.

A perfect way to start the day,
breakfast with a stunning view.
Nature’s splendour all around,
the sun, the surf, me and you.

We exist for a while in this timeless place,
happy to be, needing nothing more.
I’ll hold the memory of your handsome face
in this moment, beside the shore.
Don’t think ahead in time and space,
in this moment I need nothing more.
