37: It's all Just Words

It’s all just words,
sitting in my inbox,
blinking on my phone,
arriving in the mail,
beamed inside my home.

It really doesn’t tell you,
what you need to know;
only letting on the ‘truth’,
the one they wish to share.
It’s not the truth at all,
so buyer please beware!

There’s always an agenda,
sometimes clear, often not.
Make sure you look,
beyond the words;
pay attention,
check the motive.
It’s not the words that matter.
It’s the actions that are potent.
